Brian Blalock grew up in Rialto, CA. He started learning and playing golf at the young age of 2. However, his main focus and passions were baseball and basketball. Golf was an additional way of being able to spend time with his father. Brian played four sports in high school; Baseball, Basketball, Golf and swam. After multiple injuries his senior year Brian enlisted in the U.S. Navy.

After serving for 5 years active duty, Brian began to learn he was gifted in the game of golf. Serving another 3 years in the active reserves he finally decided to pursue the game of golf in a bigger way. Brian used his GI Bill to attend The Golf Academy of the South in Orlando, FL. There he received his mastery in the art of teaching, tournament operations, and golf course management. Upon graduation Brian was hired by GolfTec in Ontario, CA where he began as a full time golf instructor. Teaching nearly 5000 lessons in his first and only year.

Brian was offered multiple sponsorships to pursue a professional playing career. He would go on to gain status on the Canadian tour, pepsi tour, Grey Goose tour, and the Golden State tour. Brian also competed in the ReMax world long drive championships in the late 2000s and ranked as high as 17th.

After Brian stopped playing golf as a professional he regained his amateur status with the USGA. Since then, he’s won countless club championships, set multiple course records, shot 60 twice, and has played in three USGA championships (‘23 & ‘24 U.S. Mid-AM and the 2025 U.S. Amateur).

Over the years Brian has worked with students of all skill sets, ages and backgrounds including many juniors he has helped obtain Division 2 golf scholarships, Mini Tour players, NFL, NBA and MLB players. One of Brian’s greatest passions is in working with his foundation “Finding Fairways” where he has ran multiple camps and has received state wide awards for excellence in victim’s services.
